Goldie Romaine Snyder, 88, of Westminster, died Thursday at the Carroll Hospital Center.
Born March 13, 1915, in Brodbecks, Pa., she was the daughter of the late George Wesley Rinehart and Jane Rebecca (Miller) Rinehart. She was the wife of the late Curtis Noah Snyder.
She was retired from the Webster's Sewing Factory and, after retirement, had worked for the Westminster Rescue Mission as a store clerk.
She was a member of St. Paul's "Dubs" United Church of Christ in Hanover, Pa.
She enjoyed playing cards and bingo, sewing, baking and cooking.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Alice Snyder of Westminster; a daughter and son-in-law, Darby Jane and Richard Drobnek Sr. of Eldersburg; a son and daughter-in-law, Curtis Lee and Faye Snyder of Westminster; a brother, Edwin Rinehart of Hanover, Pa.; grandchildren Curtis Lee Snyder Jr. of Chappaqua, N.Y., Brian Gilbert Snyder of Westminster, Richard Michael Drobnek Jr. of Eldersburg, Jane Rebecca Summers of Forest, Va., and Allison Elaine Kraftson of Herndon, Va.; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sisters Edna Rinehart, Mary Zumbrum, Florence Zumbrum and Grace Runk predeceased her.
A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at the Pritts Funeral Home and Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster, with the Rev. Henry Korinth officiating. Interment will be in Leister's Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
