Gloria Jane Kistler, 91, of Darragh, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012, in her home. Born Jan. 23, 1921, in South Greensburg, she was a daughter of the late Louis Franklin Whitehead and Rachel Hoffman Whitehead. Prior to her retirement, she was employed by the former Troutman's Department Store in Greensburg as a clerk. She was a member of the Downtown United Methodist Church, Madison, and also a member of the United Methodist Womens Group of the church. She was a former member of the Eastern Star Chapter of Greensburg and a former member of the Madison Volunteer Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and was also a volunteer helper with the former Madison Girl Scouts.
