From an obituary received from Lois Price: Wheeler, at the Whitefish hospital. Gloria (Dot) Smith died of a heart condition. Her husband, Owen Smith, died in Monument, Oregon, eight years ago. Dot made her home in Monument, but was in a rest home, near her son Gregg Smith, when she passed away. She is also survived by two additonal sons, Scott and Dale Smith, and one daughter, Vicki Nehring: by three sisters, Mary King, Whitefish, Montana; Jean Elam, Spokane, Washington; Carol Diesen, Kirkland, Washington; and two brothers, Bob Payne of White Sulphur Springs, Montana; and Ed Payne of Whitefish, Montana.
