Glen O. Grumpp, 93, 407 Jackson Ave., died at Dukes Memorial Hospital Thursday, May 10, 1979.
He was born in Wabash County on Feb. 15, 1886, the son of Charles and Lenora Curmrine Grumpp. He married Lou Emma Scott in 1906. She preceded him in death.
Mr. Grumpp was a retired stationery engineer at Peru High School, and a member of the Oakdale Baptist Church, Peru-Miami Masonic Lodge and Order of Amaranth.
Surviving are a daughter, Naomi Bryan, Peru, and a sister, Inez Wray, Peru. One son, one daughter and two brothers preceded him in death.
Services will be Monday at 1:30 p.m. at the Oakdale Baptist Church, the Rev. Randy Smith officiating. Burial will be at Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Flowers-Leedy Funeral Home. Masonic Services will be at 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. The body will lie in state at the church one hour before the service.
