Gladys M. Gobrecht, of Hanover, passed away February 18, 2012. Gladys was the loving wife of the late William H. Gobrecht who died March 29, 2001.
Born January 21, 1923, in Adams County, she was the daughter of the late Addison S. and Eva L. (Klinefelter) Horner.
Gladys was a graduate of Eichelberger Class of 1941 and a member of A.A.R.P.
She was the tax collector of West Manheim Township, York County for 20 plus years and a homemaker.
Gladys is survived by five sons, John W. Gobrecht, Terry W. Gobrecht, Jerry L. Gobrecht, Jay A. Gobrecht, and Lenny R. Gobrecht, all of Hanover; four daughters, Pennie M. Gruver of Hanover, Bonnie S. Busbey of Glenville, Kathy J. Gobrecht of Hanover, and Angela F. Mowery of Hanover; 13 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Roscoe Horner and Dale Horner.
