Gladys “Geril” Hollifield, age 81 of Morristown, passed away on July 11, 2016.
She was a member of West View Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Hollifield, parents, John and Eliza Jane Dotson, sister, Bobbie Jean Dotson Thacker.
Survivors include son, Carlos Ray Hollifield (Sherri) Knoxville, daughter, Donna S. Hayes (Danny) special friend, Neil, of Morristown; grandchildren, Jacob Hollifield (Kim) Wilmington, N.C., Amy Hollifield Tipton, (Spenser) Atlanta, GA, Leslie Marshall (special friend, Krystal) Grainger Co., Josh Hayes (Becky) Morristown; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Hunter, Camden, and Madison Marshall, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family is grateful for the concern and care provided by Doctors Short, Ramaprasad, Rich and the CCU/IMC staff at Morristown Hamblen Hospital.
A visitation will be on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from 6-8PM at Mayes Family Services, Downtown Chapel. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at the funeral home with Rev. Danny Lamb and Rev. Chris Hazelwood officiating. Interment will follow in Liberty Hill Cemetery.
