Box 52, Mountain View, Missouri 65548 Gladys Irene Bishop was born January 19, 1903 at Lowry City, Mo., the daughter of Calvin Homer and Lucinda Jane Bates Bishop. She departed this life July 8, 1990 at the St. Francis Hospital in Mountain View, Mo., at the age of 87 years. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister; one brother; and three nephews. Gladys moved to Trask with her family in 1906 when her father moved his medical practice here from Lowry City, Mo. Later in her life Gladys owned and operated a general store in Trask and was also the postmaster there. Graveside services were held July 11, 1990 with Dr. Wayne Wood officiating. Burial was in Walker Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Duncan Funeral Home of Mountain View.
