Person:Gjermund Torkelsson Vreim (1)

Gjermund of Vreim was mentioned in 1591 and 1593. He was a delegate, along with Niri Einarsson Staurheim from Bø and Erling Hvalen from Lunde to the 1591 ceremony in Oslo that acknowledged King Christian IV. In 1602, he was mentioned as the largest and richest landowner in Bø, owning Vreim, Flita, Garvik, Øverland, Oppebøen and Nes ytre.^[2]
