Ginger E. Metzger-Jackson, age 47, of Topeka passed away Friday, November 18, 2005 in an automobile accident on US-24 highway, west of Topeka. She was born October 26, 1958 in Topeka, the daughter of Paul "Pete" W. Metzger and Arlene E. Smith Metzger. She attended Seaman schools. She graduated from Washburn University with an Associate Degree in Physical Therapy. She was a member of Seaman Congregational United Church of Christ. She worked as a physical therapist assistant at various healthcare facilities in the area.
She is survived by her parents, Pete and Arlene Metzger of Topeka; a daugher, Crystal Loethen and her husband Joe of Topeka; a sister, Cinday Wall and her husband Larry of Topeka; a brother Dan Metzger of Bethel Springs, Tennessee; two grandsons, Noah and Dalton Loethen of Topeka and a companion Ronald "Wheeler" Dvoracek of Topeka.
Funeral services will be Monday, November 21, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at the Seaman Congregational United Church of Christ. She will lie in state Sunday from noon to 9 p.m., with a family visitation from 2:00 - 4:00 at the Davidson Funeral Home. Interment will be at the Rochester Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Noah and Dalton Loethen Educational Fun and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home.
