GILBERT M. STANNERS - At his home in Mt. Pleasant, on Saturday evening, November 22, 1890, Mr. Stanners, aged 27 years, 7 months 25 days. Gilbert M. Stanners was born in Muirhouse, Linlithgowshire, Scotland, March 27, 1863. He came to America in April 1883. He resided some time in Ustick and a few months ago moved to this township, about a mile north of Morrison. For some time he has been afflicted with that dreaded malady - consumption, which caused his death. He leaves a widow and two children to mourn his death. The funeral services were held at his residence last Monday, Rev. J.W.Skinner officiating. The remains were interred in Grove Hill cemetery.
