All children except Edmond were born in Middletown, MA. He moved to Partudgefield (not Perry) in 1779. Later he moved to Washington, then to Lennox, MA. The second wife died in Broom, NY. Gideon Richmond served in the REvolutionary War, as did his son Abiathar. He enlisted on March 1, 1778.
