  3. ↑ Papa died after suffering a massive right-side stroke which caused a 21mm midline shift. Surgery was not elected by the family. He was taken to Hartford Hospital on 07-MAR-2005 where he stayed until 11-MAR-2005. Brad came up from Florida 08-MAR-2005 and stayed until 13-MAR-2005. Brad and Elizabeth came back for the funeral, which was held at Slater Funeral Home, Cheshire. He was laid to rest with military honors from the VFW (Army and Navy representatives) who gave Bess a flag.
