Strawberry Point -- Funeral services for Monday for Mrs. Glenn Olinger, 49, who died at her home suddenly Friday; born Mar. 29, 1901, daughter of George and Hally Mathilda Tousley Starr at Wadena; married to Glenn Olinger Oct. 29, 1923, of Oelwein; lived for a time at Mederville but moved to their farm east of Strawberry Point 16 years ago and have been there since that time; leaves husband Glenn Olinger, and one daughter, Mrs. Charles Billings, Kansas City, Mo.; seven sisters and one brother, Mrs. Clarence Tucker, Strawberry Point; Mrs. Louis K. Smith, Mrs. Leonard Larson, Mrs. Roy Thomas and Mrs. Albert Graesch, all of Oelwein; Mrs. Eldon Grapes, Maynard; Mrs. Ralph Duff, Salem, Ore.; Carl Starr, Maquoketa; was preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Mrs. Glenn Olinger

Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Monday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church here for Mrs. Glenn Olinger, 49, who died at her home here very suddenly about 3:00 a.m. March 2, 1951.

Born March 29, 1901, she was the daughter of George and Hailey Mathilda Tousley Starr at Wadena. She was married to Glenn Olinger October 29, 1923, at Oelwein. They lived for a time at Mederville but moved to their farm east of Strawberry Point sixteen years ago and have been there since that time.

Survivors include her husband, Glenn Olinger, and one daughter, Mrs. Charles Billings (Zita Marie) of Kansas City. There are also seven sisters and one brother who survive. The sisters are: Mrs. Clarence Tucker of Strawberry Point, Mrs. Louis K. Smith, Mrs. Leonard Larson, Mrs. Roy Thomas, and Mrs. Albert Graesch, all of Oelwein, Mrs. Eldon Grapes of Maynard, Mrs. Ralph Duff of Salem, Ore.; and Mr Carl Starr, her brother, of Maquoketa. She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother, and one sister.

Interment will be made at St. Mary's cemetery in Strawberry Point. The Reverend Father Julius Olinger and the Reverend Father Robert Swift officiated at the service.
