DOCUMENTATION: (10/90) Found a Jan Pruijssen and a Jan Gerrits Pruijssen on Polder's list in Nieuwaal where Jan Pruijssen was born. FHL File # 911,552.

BIRTH: Ancestral File entry (Feb. 1994) Submitted by Mrs. Robert R. Smith, 1718 East 3000 South, Wendell, ID 83355. Born in Zuilichem, bapt. Herwijnen. FHL #108,746, Herwijnen church records.

MARRIAGE: Gerrit Pruijssen and Gijsbertje van Wijnen had twins in 1733 before they were married. Records very sparse, no marriage lists for this period. FHL files # 920,405 (Zuilichem index cards), # 896,370 (Nieuwaal records) #108,896 (Nieuwaal Catholic records). But record indicates they had not been previously married.

DEATH: Uitwijk, NB parish records, FHL file # 6311684. As a baptism witness in 1764, Gijsbertje van Wijnen is listed as a widow, therefore he is already dead.

UPDATE: 2004 from Hans Bontenbal - gives marriage date in 1735.
