Geraldine Kolschefski, 89, Butte, North Dakota passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Trinity Nursing Home, Minot, North Dakota. Funeral Services will be at 10:30 am, Friday, October 20, 2023 at the United Community Baptist Church, Anamoose, North Dakota. Pastor Tim Mantei will officiate and burial will be in the Rosenfeld Baptist Cemetery, rural Drake, North Dakota. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 19, 2023 at the church in Anamoose. Arrangements by Nelson Funeral Home, Drake, North Dakota.
Geraldine Joy, daughter of Paul and Mary (Demchuk) Plesuk was born September 25, 1934. She was raised and educated in Kief and Butte, graduating from Butte High School in 1954. On July 17, 1955 Geraldine was united in marriage to Vernon Kolschefski at Rosenfeld Baptist Church of rural Drake. They lived on the family farm of rural Butte.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, husband Vernon, brothers Ralph and Roger, brother-in-law Walter Volochenko, sister-in-law Betty, in-laws Ruben & Magdalena (Maggie), and extended family.
