George W. Zepp, 74, retired Union township farmer and a director of the Littlestown National bank for the last 12 years, died at 11:20 o'clock (E.S.T.) Monday evening at his home on East King Street, Littlestown. A complication of diseases caused death after an illness of several months.
Mr. Zepp had been engaged in farming in Union township for a number of years, but had retired 10 years ago and moved to Littlestown.
He is survived by his widow, the former Annie Jones; and four children, Murray H. Zepp, Red Lion; Herbert J. Zepp, Littlestown R.D.; Levi C. Zepp, Hanover R.D.; and Miss Vergie M. Zepp, at home; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren, There is one sister, Mrs. Ida Zepp, Hanover, also surviving.
He was a member of Christ Reformed Church, near Littlestown.
Brief funeral services Thursday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock (E.S.T.)with further services in Christ's church, with the pastor, the Rev. Dr. H. H. Hartman, officiating. Interment in the cemetery adjoining the church.
Friends may call at the Zepp home Wednesday evening from 7 to 9 o'clock.
