Will of George Wilson
- GEORGE WILSON'S WILL - "Monongalia county and State of Virginia September the 17th 1809, in the name of God Amen, I George wilson of the County and State above being weak in body but in perfect mind and memory and being willing to settle my affairs so as to hinder all disputes after my decease.
- Item, I give and bequeath one hundred acors of Land to my son william Wilson where he now lives.
- The other part of my land where I now live I give and bequeith to my beloved wife Mary wilson dureing her natural life, and after her death to my daughter Hannah Wilson and her son John Wilson.
- Item, to my daughter Margaret Wilson a hundred acors on tiger Valley (s;b Tygard) River the main fork of the Monongalia.
- To my son Arthur Wilson sixty acors of land where he now lives and do herey acknoledgethis my last will and testament.
- In witness hereof I set my hand.
- (signed) George Wilson his mark and seal.
- Teste: George Wilson, Mathew Wilson.
- At court held for Monongalia county September term 1815. this within last will and testament of George Wilson dec'd was produced in court proved by the oath of George Wilson Jun'r and Mathew Wilson witnesses thereto and ordered to be recorded.
