    George W. Twibill, Jr. (1806 - 1836) was active/lived in Pennsylvania. George Twibill Jr is known for Portrait paintng, miniatures.

    Born in Lampeter, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, he became the pupil and then brother-in-law of Henry Inman. He was known primarily for his miniatures, but he also did some full-length portraits of artist John Trumbull and one of a General Cummings. He was regarded as highly talented and tragic in that he died at age 30.
