George Stahlman, Sigel Star RT., Dies
Funeral services were held in the Reitz Funeral Home in Brookville for George McClelland Stahlman, 91, of Sigel Star Route, who died Friday (January 15, 1955) following a long illness.
Mr. Stahlman was born in Kirkman, Jefferson County, October 30, 1863, the son of Gabriel and Ester Keck Stahlman. He had married twice, first to the former Cora Wallace, (who died), in 1888, and later to Nancy Horne, (who died), in 1929. Mr. Stahlman was a member of the Baptist Church.
Surviving are two sons, Claude Stahlman, of Brookville, and Harry W. Stahlman, of Sigel Star Route, and two daughters, Mrs. James Porter, of Sigel, and Mrs. Guy Leidigh, of Beaver Falls. He also leaves nine grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
