In 1930, John Bowman, noted as “Uncle” in the census records, was living with George and Regina.
Father was born in Zanesville, Ohio per George’s WWI draft card. George also notes on his draft card that in 1918 his nearest living relative was a “Harry Smith” which could be presumed to be a father, uncle, or brother. Harry lived in the same residence as George, Greenwood Avenue, which taken with George’s age in 1918 (21 years) we could likely presume Harry to be George’s father.
Upon further research, it was concluded that the prior conjecture is correct, and Harry is indeed George’s father.
