   George W. (Bill) Saylor, 82, of 602 Orchard St., Berlin, died March 16, 1979, at Somerset Community Hospital.  He was born April 13, 1896, in Northampton Township, son of Peter and Ellen (Beal) Saylor.  He was preceded in death by parents, six brothers and two sisters. He is survived by wife, the former Jennie Benning; and these children:  Mrs. Roy (Marie) Onstead, Central City RD 1; Mrs. Andy (Margaret) Hummel and Galen, both of Berlin; Ernest, Toledo, Ohio; and Mrs. Telford (Betty) Shaulis, Doylestown; also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; one brother, Harry Saylor, Berlin RD 3.  He was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ of Roxbury.  He was a veteran of World War I of the U.S.A. Army Barracks No. 3218 of Somerset, Harry Fisher Post 445, American Legion; and Robert Walker Post No. 4333, V.F.W., Berlin.  Death ended a marriage union of 59 years.  He was a retired farmer.  Friends were received at the Johnson-Kuhlman Funeral Home, Berlin, where services were held with the Rev. Herald V. Seese officiating. Interment, Berlin I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
