It is not at all clear which "George Sapp" this source is referring to. There were several men of that name in Knox County at that time, most having come from Maryland, and researchers have been trying for years to untangle them. Moreover, Ancestry and many individual websites give this particular Reason Sapp's father as "William," which probably is incorrect.
