[20] George Ricker, baptized by Elder Hooper in October, 1799, was ordained pastor of the Second Buckfield church in 1805, and was pastor there for five years; and then, removing to Minot, was pastor of the church in East Auburn, forty years.
[70] In 1816, there was quite an extensive revival of religion in Turner, chiefly in connection with the Congregational church. Ten of the individuals united with the Baptist church in Minot—now Auburn. Rev. Nathaniel Chase and Rev. George Ricker were often with them.

[86] In 1803, one of their number, George Ricker, was ordained and became their pastor, but, in 1810, Elder Ricker was dismissed and moved to Minot (Auburn).
