1920 he was a conductor on electic railroad. Obituary G. Rettinhouse Dies at Age 77 George A. Rettinhouse, 8555 Sternberg Rd., Nunica, died late Monday at Municipal Hospital. He was 77 and had been admitted to the hospital Sunday. Born Aug 9, 1889 in Big Rapids, the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William J. Rettinhouse, he married the former Miss Lettie Corll in Grand Rapids, Nov. 6, 1913. He moved to the Nunica area about 29 years ago. He had been employed in the maintenance department of Fruitport Community Schools, retiring in 1959. Mr. Rettinhouse was a charter member of Fruitport Bethel Baptist Church. Surviving are the widow, Lettie; four daughters, Mrs. Edward (Freda) Britton and Mrs. Howard (Nina) Coles both of Nunica, Mrs. John (Fern) George of Spring Lake and Mrs. Clare (Agnes) Bogart of Fruitport; two sons, Fay of Fruitport and Leonard of Nunica; 22 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. The body is at the Kammeraad Funeral Home, Grand Haven. RETTINHOUSE, MR. GEORGE A. 8555 Sternberg Rd., Sullivan Twp. Muskegon County Mr. G.A. Rettinhouse, age 77, passed away Monday evening following a brief illness. Funeral services will be conducted Friday afternoon at 1:30 at the Kammeraad Funeral Home, Grand Haven with the Rev. Glenn Williamson, Pastor of the Sullivan Community Church officiated. Interment will be in the Fruitport Cemetery.
