? Killed 23 Feb 1779 by Simon Girty's Indians at (his name in gold on monument)Fort Laurens on the forks of the Tuscarawas (near Lisbon OHIO), his back pay was accepted by Capt Abel WESTFALL at Fort Pitt in 1785, his brother Josiah OSBORNE was named heir to his Rev War warrant.
