Marriage: 5 April 1877 to Emma Amelia Mouttell in Clay County, Kansas. * Marriage license in Clay County (Uniondale), issued 2 April 1877.#17. Death: *Obituary of George Mullis in "Friday Harbor Journal" on 3 December1925. Burial: Valley Cemetery, Obituary (see above) - Worked as a railroader and carpenter. Went for a few months to the Klondike during the gold rush there.

Was 6 feet 4 in stocking feet according to Frances Morehead. Came to this country when he was 20/24. Family were Hugenots. Middle name on picture.

Frances Kirsop (June 5, 1972 letter) said George told her “one of his ancestors came to England from Normandy with William the Conqueror in 1066.
