- GEORGE McCULLOUGH
- Was in Air Twp, BedfordCo, Penna., Jan. 29, 1789, subject to military duty. George McCullough son of Archibald, came to America, presumably from Derry, Ireland. He landed in Newcastle Co., Del., where he mar. Mary Crosby about 1770. They had John b. June 28, 1771; 2nd child was Rebecca. George McCullough mar. 2nd, Mary Eynon, dau. of Wm. Eynon, issue, Eynon McCullough. He mar. 3rd, Sarah, dau. of Evan and Catherine Phillips of what is now Warren Twp., Franklin Co., Penna. They had issue: Evan; Samuel; Mary; Catherine; Hannah; Rachel; and Jane. George McCullough later came to the vicinity of Upton, a taxable in 1786, a tanner by trade. He was a Cousin of Archie McCullough, who was in the Enoch Brown massacre.
- Of the above issue, John McCullough mar. Elizabeth McCune in 1795, who was born 1772.
- They had issue: Archibald Scott b. 1797; Rebecca b. 1799; Mary Ann b. June 5, 1803; Isabella b. Sept. 2, 1805; Eleanor b. 1808; Elizabeth b. Nov. 26, 1810; Margaret D. b. Feb. 8, 1814; John Free b. Dec. 18, 1816; John McCullough d. Jan. 4, 1851. His wife Elizabeth McCune McCullough d. June 4, 1847.
