Oswego Palladium-Times, 5 Dec 1947: REDFIELD-- Mr. and Mrs. George McCann [!] left on Saturday for El Centro CA to spend the winter near their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Keeling, formerly of Red Creek. Mr. Keeling is teacher in the High school there.

Pulaski Democrat, 26 June 1952: LAST RITES FOR GEORGE McCAW George McCaw, aged 56 years, a life long resident of Redfield, died at 7:30 p. m. June 21 at Syracuse Memorial Hospital where he had been under observation for a week. He had been in poor health for the past year. He was born July 18, 1895, only son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William J. McCaw of Redfield. In 1915 he married Miss Lizzie Neill of Pulaski who survives him, with two daughters, Mrs. Leslie Widrig (Helen) of Mannsville and Mrs. Ralph Keeling (Pauline) of El Centro, Calif. He is also survived by two sisters, Mrs. Carl Locke (Bessie) of Minoa and Mrs. Frank Fox (Fannie) of East Syracuse and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services were held... on Wednesday from Sanborn Funeral Home, Camden, with Rev. Charles Rowley officiating. Bearers were... Burial was in Redfield cemetery.
