George Kilpatrick Dies; Ran Cafe

George Henry Kilpatrick, 61, 687 Karl SW, died at 7:15 p.m. Friday in the Pittsburgh (Pa.) Veterans Hospital, following a short illness.
He was born here March 30, 1913, the son of Hulda M. Waggoner Kilpatrick and the late James B. Kilpatrick.
Prior to retiring in 1973, Mr. Kilpatrick was manager of the Blue Moon Cafe for many years.
A lifetime resident of this area, he was a member of Leavittsburg American Legion Post 699, VFW Post 1090 and 83rd Infantry Assn.
He was an Army veteran of World War II.
Besides his mother of Warren, he leaves his wife, Agnes Richards Kilpatrick, whom he married in 1971; two sons, George of Warren, James B. of Wooster; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Betty Book, and a stepson, Orman Werner, both of Warren; three brothers, James M., Floyd E. and Robert J., all of Warren; and 11 grandchildren.
Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. at the Robert H. Roberts Memorial Home. Burial will be in the Pine Knoll Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m today.
