    George Hall came from New Jersey to Clay Township, Montgomery County, Ohio, where he was a Blacksmith and lived with the Emerick Family. George married Sarah Swank, the daughter of Jacob & Mary Swank. The family lived in Darke County, Ohio, in the Arcanum-Ithaca-Gordon area.
    George and Sarah had six children...Harmon (1852), Joseph (1854), Jasper (1855), David (1857), Salena (1861), Dora (1863).
    George died accidentally, falling off a bank during a cave-in at the gravel pit where he was working near Ithaca, Ohio.
