George C Graham Sr George C Graham Sr, 65, of 2360 East Eden Twp. Rd. 86, Tiffin, died in h is home Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2004. He was born in Bascom on Feb. 22, 19 38 to the late Leonard C and Mary (Keefe) Graham. On April 24, 1965 he mar ried Shirley Chiow in St. Joseph Catholic Church, Tiffin, and she survive s. Also surviving include: two sons, George C Graham, Jr of Toledo, and J im L Graham of Tiffin; two daughters, Becky S Lang, and Mrs. Tony (K im M) Firestone, both of Tiffin; a brother, Richard (Carol) Graham of Tiff in; two sisters, Mrs. Frank (Donna) Brose of Tiffin, and Mrs. Alan (Janic e) Smith of Newark, Oh.; and eight grandchildren: Brian Young, Zackary Fir estone, Jamie Rose Lang, Alison Lang, Travis Lang, Hailey Graham, Ethan Fi restone and Levi Graham. Mr. Graham was a Class of 1956 graduate of Calvert High School, and attend ed Tiffin University. He retired from Atlas Crankshaft in 1993 after worki ng 31 years as a lathe operator. He was also the owner of Graham Roofin g. His memberships included the Knights of Columbus, Tiffin Moose Lodge #8 46, Eagles Aerie #402, AmVets Post #48 and DAV #34. He enjoyed travelin g, golfing and supporting local high school football games and activitie s. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. A U.S Navy Veteran servi ng from 1956 to 1960 as an aircraft engine mechanic. The Funeral Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2004 at S t. Joseph Catholic Church with the Rev. James K Say officiating. The Rosa ry will be prayed at 10:45 a.m.. Burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. Military G raveside Service conducted by the United Veterans Council. Visitation hours are from 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the Hoffmann-Gottfried Funer al Home. A Christian Wake Service at 7:45 p.m., Sunday. Memorials may be made to Calvert High School Tuition Assistance Fund; Calv ert Athletic Boosters and/or Community Hospice Care. |
