Obit - Of 109 Chambers Drive, Monaca, died in Rochester Unit of Medical Center of Beaver County, following a 5 year illness. Born June 14, 1908, in Monaca, son of the late Thomas and Margaret Riggin Forse, he was an employee of VASCO-Teledyne, Monaca 43 years, retiring in 1970, a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Fraternal Order of Eagles No 1412, and a member and past president of Local 1261. United Steelworkers of America, all in Monaca. Surviving are his widow, Helen Bragg Forse: three sons, George R., Falls Church VA; and John E and Donald R both of Monaca; seven grandchildren; a brother Thomas B Forse, Monaca and 2 sisters Mrs. Marjorie Turney, Aliquippa, and Mrs. Viola Reynolds, Freedom. Friends will be received today from 7-9 pm and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 in the Batchelor Funeral Home, Monaca, where a service will be conducted Friday at 10:30am by his pastor Rev Harold Winter. Interment will be in Sylvania Hills Memorial Park, Daugherty Township.
