[Rome] Roman Citizen, 14 Jan 1891: ROBBERY IN CAMDEN William Witchley and George E. Fenton of Camden were arrested Monday by Officer Pearsall... for robbing the cigar stand of Joseph May. A quantity of the stolen goods was found in their possession, and the balance they had secreted in an old cutter in a lumber yard. Both of them confessed to the robbery and Justice E.C. Woodruff held them in $500 bail each to appear before the grand jury.

Utica Daily Press, 2 Feb 1902: ... MISFIT MARRIAGES ...An action to annul the marriage of Ethel W. Fenton and George E. Fenton was brought by the girl's guardian, John G. Jeffrey. The young man and woman were married in Camden four years ago. Fenton still lives in Camden, but the girl wife is with relatives in Ohio. Witnesses were sworn who testified the young man's arts and habits were not those of a faithful husband. An order annulling the marriage was granted.

Surviving are a sister, Miss Delilah Fenton of Ogdensburg and one brother, Delbert Fenton of Camden.
