  12. At the time of his death he was Justice of the Peace in our city. For a long term of years, he served as sherill of Knox county, Ills. He leaves to mourn his sudden departure, a wife, one sone and two grand-daughters, who were dependent upon him for support. On Friday, best of health; on Saturday, attacked by the unannounced hand of disease; on Sunday, he died; on Monday, his body was laid to rest in the silent city of the dead.
