George Calvin Earl, 82, Risingsun, passed away Dec. 4, 2003, at 6:05 a. m. in Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

   Mr. Earl was born March 12, 1921, in Risingsun, to Simon and Julia (Ke iser) Earl.
   He married Ila Fae E Morgan on April 26, 1945, in Bradner.
   Those who survive him are his wife; two sons, Calvin Earl of Risings un and Lester Earl of Lakeland, Fla.; one sister, Esther Pelton of Fostori a; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
   Mr. Earl was predeceased by his parents; two brothers, Fern and Leona rd Earl; and one sister, Eva Miller.
   Mr. Earl was a retired employee of C & O Railroad in Fostoria. He al so owned and operated Earl’s Pony Ride in Risingsun.
   He was affiliated with St. James Lutheran Church in Bradner and w as a WWII Army Veteran.
   Visitation will be held Sunday, Dec. 7, 2003, at Barndt Funeral Ho me in Wayne.
   Funeral services will take place Monday, Dec. 8, 2003, at Barndt Funer al Home, Wayne, at 11 a.m. Reverend David A Bliss will officiate.
   Burial will follow in Graham Cemetery in Wayne.
   Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Associati on or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
