    George B Draper, a prosperous real estate agent and notary public of Monett, MO is a native of Decatur County, Ind. born in 1844. He is a son of Andrew J and Eva (Montgomery) Draper. Andrew J Draper was b in VA in 1818 and when a boy removed with his father, Thomas Draper, to Decatur Co, IN. there he grew to manhood, married and passed the remainder of his life, dying in 1883. His wife, who was born in Ohio, died in 1878. Their children were

    George B was reared on a farm, and educated in the common schools of his native State, remaining with his parents until he was 22 years of age.

    On Jan 22, 1866, he was united in marriage with Florence E Hamilton, who was born in Johnson Co, IN. in 1866, and to them have been born three children; Lambertine, Ollie G and Walter H.

    Mr Draper resided in his native county until 1880, when he removed to Barton County, locating in Exeter, and settling in Plymouth, not Monett, 1882. For the past 18 months he has been engaged in the real estate business, and a partnership with J l Downing and the firm is doing a successful business. Politically, Mr Draper endorses and supports the principles of the Republican party. He is a member of the I O O F. His wife is a devoted member of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church.
