Received a Kentucky Land Grant of 27 1/2 acres on the Kentucky River on July 30, 1798. By 1800, had acquired 165 1/2 acres more land on the KY river. The total of 193 acres shows up in the name of Benoni Downs in 1804. George Sr never appears again. (This from email from Brad)
