   George P. "Shorty" Donges, 64, of Meyersdale, died March 5, 1998, in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland, Md.  Born Aug. 2, 1933, in Meyersdale, he was a son of the late Steward S. and Ethel Marie (Phillippi) Donges.  He was also preceded in death by a brother and sister, Stewart and Marilyn Donges.
