The AltoonaPA "Mirror" issue of 4 Sep 1916, p. 12, col. 2 GEORGE W DIVELY Died at his home at Claysburg at 3.35 Saturday morning of gangrene. He h ad been a cripple for forty-eight years. He was born in Greenfield T wp on Oct. 18, 1837, and spent his entire life in that vicinity. He was kn own throughout the southern end of the CO. He was married Nov. 30, 186 0, to Susan Klotz who survives with ten children, Mrs. Ross Bice of Franks town, Mrs. Mary Dibert, Mrs. Emma Harber, Mrs. Annie Rhodes, Austin Dive ly and Ross Dively of Claysburg, Mrs. Rebecca Fox of East Freedom, Mrs. Ma ggie Young of Lakemont Terrace, Mrs. Ella Fessler [Sessler] of Altoona a nd two sisters, also forty-six grandchildren. The funeral took place th is morning at 10 o'clock, services being conducted at the Claysburg Luther an church. Interment in Lutheran cemetery at Claysburg. |
