From Dee: I knew there was a mystery about Rose’s mom because there was whispered conversations between Granny Jones and Floss, her sister, when I asked about my mom’s wedding I don’t think the Seals knew. I have a picture in a book that could be Rose’s dad, it looks very like Rose’s daughter and son, the tall thin ones, and in the 1881 census they lived in Finch Road, Villa Cross by Baines Bakery. He drove a post office wagon that pick up the mail from the post boxes 12 times a day. Went to the Welsh Methodist church where my Granddad Jones’ dad was a lay preacher and his sons were in the church football at Villa Cross. It later moved to Aston and became Aston Villa football club. But the Jones and Davies boys were in at the start in the 1880s/1890s.
