  14. Bear Lake Pioneer Dies in Wisconsin
Bear Lake, Nov. 27 - When H.H. Chase returned home from the Upper Peninsula yesterday he learned that his brother, G. Carlos Chase, had died at his home near Robbins, Wis., Nov. 1st, and was buried with Masonic honors at Rhinelander, Wis.
    G. Carlos Chase was a resident of Bear Lake in the early lumbering days. He worked here as a band sawyer and carpenter and lived for a while in the house on the top of the hill now owned by Missionary Pomeroy. He moved to Wisconsin about thirty years ago.
Mr. Chase is survived by his wife and two daughters, Mrs. Clara Jones of Washington, D.C., and Miss Lulu Chase, who teaches at Little Rock, Arkansas.
