Will of George Brownell

"To son Giles 21 pounds and 12 shillings lawful money, also my silver sword.
To son George the sum of 9 pounds and 3 shillings.
To son Thomas the sum of 8 pounds in lawful money.
To son Paul certain real estate also nine pounds.
To son Stephen the sum of thirty pounds lawful money.
To daughter Phebe Tabor the sum of 30 pounds.
To daughter Mary Wood the sum of nineteen pounds and twelve shillings.
To daughter Mary Brownell which I had by my second wife the sum of 200 Spanish dollars.
To wife Comfort Brownell my Rome mare, bridle and saddle, my red chest, the improvement of my great room and great chamber and bedroom below, etc.
To five sons all my wearing apparel.
To son Jonathan the rest and residue of my estate both real and personal. I also give him my clock..."S1

George Brownell and second wife Comfort Taylor "lived on what was later the Barker Peckham place at the four corners near Westport Harbour landing."
