In the Name of God Amen I George Benson of the County of Knox & State of Illinois now being of sound mind and feeling And believing the certainty of our approaching desolution, do make and ordain this to be my last Will & Testament first and above all other things it is my sincere wish that after death I may inherit Eternal live.
2ndly it is further my wish that after death my body may be decently Intered and the Expenses of the same paid out of my effects.
3dly it is further my Will that my youngest Daughter Mary Benson to have out of my Estate the amount of two hundred and fifty dollar and also one Bed and Bedding.
4ly it is further my will that my Son Henry Benson to have out of my Estate the amount of One Hundred & fifty dollars.
5thly it is further my will that my Daughter Sary Stoddard to have out of My Estate the amount of One Hundred dollars
6thly It is further my Will that my daughter Malinda Henderson to have out of my Estate the Amount of One Hundred dollars.
7thly and the overplus of my Estate Including goods, Chattels, Lands and Tenaments after they shall have been disposed of or sold it is my Will that it shall be Equally divided Between all my Children.
In Testimony whereof I have here unto set my hand and affixed my private Seal this 2d day of April A.D. 1853.

We John Morton and Dharles M.
