I.; married in Scituate, by Elder Russell Allen, 19 June, 1832, Amey (or Amie) Westcott, daughter of Judge Josiah and Mary (Peckham) Westcott, born 21 Apl. 1810, died 16 Dec. 1833; no children; married, 2nd, in Scituate, by Elder Benjamin R. Alden, 17 Dec. 1835, Elizabeth Winsor, of Johnston, R. I., daughter of Andrew Winsor, born 1817, died 8 Mch. 1837, in her 20th year; one child; married, 3rd, in Scituate, by Rev. Charles P. Grayson, 17 Mch. 1839, Lydia Sheldon (Fiske) Knight, daughter of Peleg and Orpha (Knight) Fiske, born Johnston, R. I., 28 May 1811, died, South Scituate, 10 Feb. 1874; five children. George Earle Battey and his three wives are all buried in the Dr. Owen Battey family cemetery, near Battey Corner, South Scituate. Farmer, resided South Scituate, where his six children were born.
