George Albaugh, 81, of RD, Amsterdam, died Sunday in his home. He had been in failing health the past year and seriously ill six weeks.
Have served their Country. He was reared on the farm where he died. He was the last of the Adam and Elizabeth (Burrier) Albaugh family. His birth date was February 28, 1875. He was a member of the Methodist Church.
He leaves his widow, Mrs. Gertrude Albaugh; a daughter, Alice at home, one son, Howard; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services were at the Sweeney Funeral Home, Amsterdam, Wednesday with the Rev. S. H. Pollock officiating. Burial was in Kilgore Cemetery.
