- ↑ Georg was killed in action in WWII during the German's failed seige on Stalingrad. The seige lasted almost year and close to 1,000,000 soldiers were killed on both sides combined. The seige was ruthless by the Germans as they plundered and murdered their way through the cities and twons leading to Stalingrad.
The Russians returned the favor when they crossed Germany on their way to Berlin in the closing days of the war as Germany was preparing to surrender.
Georg's body was never found.
