Origins

At least two of Georg Leonhard's sons moved to Feilbingert and married Weber girls (sisters?). Henryk is descended from Georg Leonhard's son, Johann Adam (brother to our Nicholas). (Per Henryk Herman (actinictech@@dial.pipex.com) email 24 April 2003 to Contributor Jillaine Smith.)

Per IGI, a Lauterecken Catholic record of a possible brother, Georgii Friderici Dressel, married to Scharlottae, christening a son, Joannes Nicolaus Dressel on 1 August 1745 (Catholic).

Similarly, there is another contemporary, Johann Adam Tressel m. Anna Margaretha christening a son, Johann Peter Tressel, also in Lauterecken, but Evangelisch this time, on 26 April 1758 (the baby dies a few days later). (This couple goes on to have more children.)

A Georg Dressel of Meisenheim is sponsor to Georg Leonhard Dressel's son Johann Peter in 1729.
