obit published Monday, August 14, 2006 WORCESTER— Genevieve D. (Kosakowski) Cormier, 88, of Autumn Village Nursing Center, 25 Oriol Dr., died Friday, August 11, in the nursing center. Her husband, David F. Cormier died in 1984.

She leaves a son, David F. Cormier and his wife Lynne of Brewster and several nephews, nieces, grand nephews and grand nieces. She was predeceased by a brother, Vincent and sisters: Sally Rubler, Lucy Tozeski, Wanda Bartzak and Helen Couture. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Vincent and Anna (Kuropatwa) Kosakowski and lived here all her life.

Mrs. Cormier was once a cashier several years for Holy Cross College. She retired many years ago. Geneveieve was a member of St. Stephen’s Church.

The funeral will be held on Wednesday, August 16 from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward St., with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Stephen Church, 357 Grafton St. Burial will be private in St. John’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Stephen’s Church Building Fund, 16 Hamilton St., Worcester, MA 01604.
