Gary C. Blausey May 11, 1945 -- Aug. 3, 2007

Gary C. Blausey, age 62, formerly of Woodville, OH passed away on August 3, 2007 at Saku General Hospital, Saku City, Japan. On May 11, 1945 he was born to Lowell and Lucille (Stein) Blausey in Fremont, OH. Gary married Mayu Ogura on November 17, 1983 in Japan and she survives. He operated his own retail store Alex's Country Store in Obuse, Japan.

Survivors include wife: Mayu of Obuse, Japan; Son: Alexander Blausey of Tokyo, Japan; mother: Lucille Blausey of Woodville, OH; brothers: David (Mary Lou) Blausey of Gibsonburg, OH; James (Sandra) Blausey of Cygnet OH; Daryl (Lois) Blausey of Woodville, OH and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father Lowell Blausey.

Visitations: 2-4 & 7-9 pm Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at the Marsh Funeral Home 201 W. Main Street Woodville, OH.

Services: 11:00 am, Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Solomon Lutheran Church Woodville, OH. Officiating will be Rev. William Duty and Rev. Karl Ribbeck. Interment Westwood Cemetery, Woodville, OH.

There will be a bereavement luncheon at Solomon Lutheran Church, immediately following the committal services at the cemetery.
