Biography of Garrett DeBaun

Garrett DeBaun, son of Bernard DeBaun and Rachel Ackerman, was born Aug 1, 1825, married Elizabeth Johnson, May 3, 1848. Elizbeth, born Jan 6, 1825, died Nov 8, 1920 and is buried in Mount Repose Cemetery, Haverstraw, New York. Garrett was born in Ramapo, near Suffern, Rockland County, New York, then for years resided in Haverstraw, where he operated a retail confectionary business. Garret died in January, 1903.
